Our Origins

Crafted with Pride, Engineered for Adventure

At TEKO, our essence is innovation and rugged durability, born from the robust Australian landscape. Founded on a dedication to superior engineering, every piece that carries the TEKO name is crafted with pride by our Australian-owned and operated team.

Engineering Excellence

Trailblazing Suspension Systems

Specializing in the design and manufacture of independent trailing arm suspension systems, TEKO sets the standard in the caravan and trailer industry. As a preferred OEM supplier, we’ve delivered a significant volume of high-caliber products to our partners, reinforcing the trust and reliability synonymous with the TEKO brand.

Testing & Reliability

Tested in the Toughest Conditions

We don’t just engineer; we challenge our products in the real world. TEKO suspensions endure rigorous testing across Australia’s toughest terrains—from the relentless corrugations to the unpredictability of outback tracks and the diverse conditions of urban roads. Our ‘over-engineered’ philosophy means we’re committed to exceeding industry standards for durability and performance.

Our Milestones

From Concept to Leader in Suspension Technology

The First Milestone: Terence McNicol crafted the first Tuffride suspension in August 2014, marking the inception of a brand built to last. An image of the second suspension ever made, after enduring 100,000kms of outback roads, stands testament to our durability. (Insert Image)

The Growth Phase: With the joining of Kobus on 16 August 2017 and Roger in March 2019, TEKO expanded its horizons. Officially registered in May 2017 and commencing trade on 1st July 2017, we’ve been on an upward trajectory ever since.

Technological Advancements

Embracing Automation for Unmatched Precision

The commissioning of our first welding robot, affectionately named Helga, in January 2021, marked a new era of precision manufacturing. Samantha, Candice, and Margot have since joined our ‘robot family’, each contributing to the meticulous construction of our suspensions. (Insert Photos)

Our Impact

Nationwide Influence, Global Reach

From our inception to 2023, TEKO’s presence has exponentially grown to supply over 60 manufacturers across Australia, with our horizons now extending to international markets. Our journey reflects our slogan, ‘Adventure Unlimited’, driving us to create products that inspire confidence in every terrain.

“We manufacture suspensions for caravans and trailers, and we have a reputable name in the industry but we are always strive to improve our products. What we try and prove to ourselves and our customers is that we do real-world testing, and here we are doing something that no one else has done and putting our product to the ultimate challenge and a real-world test. This will help us determine if we need to improve anything in our findings.”
